Breastfeeding Support
“Breastfeeding… led me to self-discovery and to a greater appreciation of the full humanity of the babies who were entrusted to me. Each woman needs to trust her own instincts, her own feelings, and her own sense of what will work for her with each baby.”
–Viola Lennon (1923-January 22, 2010, LLLI Founder and profound influence on the world)
Although not every breastfeeding mother and baby necessarily require support, it as been demonstrated that breastfeeding education and access to a lactation consultant can be critical to the successful initiation and continuation of breastfeeding.

Remember: breastfeeding problems are easier to solve when help is sought early.
